Microsoft disconnects Xbox gamers

Online reports suggest that as many as 600,000 gamers may have been affected.
Microsoft confirmed that it had banned a "small percentage" of the 20 million Xbox Live users worldwide.
Microsoft said that modifying an Xbox 360 console "violates" the service's "terms of use" and would result in a player being disconnected.

Man, talk about timing... with MW2 out, I bet his pissed off a TON of people. Good news is, you can pick up a modded XBox360 for CHEAP

i've never done much co-op multiplay so i guess i haven't missed not having a 360.

I'm just glad that you can mute people in WM2 and other online games.. I've already come across all the racist, bigoted morons I can handle in my life time, so I would probably stop playing a game that doesn't allow you to mute people.

As for people getting banned... oh well.
