Boy that's a shame.

I've been following badaboom since their first press release. I was reeeeeeeely hoping that GPU accelerated encoding/transcoding was going to become the way of the future.

It's just so slow right now! A new breakthrough is needed (IMHO)

I'm guessing that in time, Badaboom will beat Handbrake in both quality and speed honestly. GPU's are made to do this sort of thing. I have a feeling a couple or two releases from now, this will be debated again and the outcome will be very different.
