anybody know a trustworthy shop that does house calls? I sure don't want to have to lug the damn thing down to a shop. I don't even have a vehicle that can haul it.

TV repair in Alexandria?
I'm in need of a TV repairman to take a look at my Mitsubishi rear projection HDTV.

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.

if it was still covered by the warante there wouldn't be much need for this thread, no?
the TV is about 5 years old now. it's an intermittent problem, just the kind to give you fits and make it impossible to get an estimate on demand.
I think I'm going to call Hi Tech Repairs of Sterling. they do house calls in Alexandria.
